There’s a new business in Montavilla!
When you walk into It’s a Gift, you’ll be welcomed into a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere where you’ll find lots of fun and beautiful gift items for just about everyone on your list. There are plenty of affordable locally made products, jewelry, cards, candles, shirts and more.
Montavillan Chelain Damron opened It’s a Gift because she lives in the neighborhood and she saw a need for more retail shops onStark Street. Her vision was to open a shop that people in the neighborhood could walk to and find a great gift and card for under $20. She turned her vision into a reality, and now we get to enjoy her delightful store.
When asked what her favorite things in her store are, she said the local products, including Hood River Lotions, One Lane Road (tee shirts), J Duct – very clever items made with duct tape, and the handmade Kaleidoscopes.
What’s her other favorite thing in the store? The customers!
