Montavilla Street Fair 2026

The 13th Montavilla Street Fair Presented by Adventist Health Portland Hits the Streets on July 26 Celebrating Small Businesses and Neighborhood Pride

Montavilla Street Fair will bring hundreds of local arts, crafts, food, and retail vendors along with community organizations, live music, and family activities to Historic Downtown Montavilla on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

PORTLAND, OR—The Montavilla/East Tabor Business Association (METBA) is preparing for the 2026 Montavilla Street Fair, presented by Adventist Health Portland, following last year’s record-setting event. The family-friendly community celebration (established in 2011) takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in the historic Downtown Montavilla area.

“The Montavilla Street Fair is one of the best ways to experience the small businesses, artists, makers, restaurants, and community organizations that make this neighborhood special. Events like this create a meaningful economic boost for local businesses while bringing neighbors and visitors together to celebrate Montavilla’s creativity, local flavor, and neighborhood pride.”

– Neil Mattson, Montavilla East Tabor Business Association (METBA).

Permits have been secured from the City of Portland to close down SE Stark Street between SE 76th and SE 82nd Avenues for the 13th Montavilla Street Fair, featuring more than 200 vendors selling food, art, clothing, games, antiques, and more, as well as marketing local products and services. As in previous years, the fair corresponds with the Montavilla Farmers Market, adding an additional layer of fun and activity.

DATE and TIMES:

Sunday, July 26, 2026 10AM to 6PM

LOCATION:

SE Stark Street between 76th and 82nd Avenues

METBA hosted its first Street Fair in 2011 on a number of side-streets North of SE Stark. In 2014 organizers took a break from putting on the event, which returned in 2015. As METBA’s membership and capacity for large-scale events grew, organizers took on the challenge and cost of closing down Stark Street for the events in 2015 through 2019. In 2020 and 2021 METBA leadership made the decision to pause all events to focus on strengthening the association internally, which led to the successful return of the annual Montavilla Street Fair in 2022 through the present.
